The problem is when I install new one, it hard to get in to the bracket even I try to wiggle and hammer it by wooden block. I did check the new one and the old one, they are just the same. New alternator doesn't fit or it really hard to get in to the bracket, what should I do? Look for small dimples in it where the bracket is supposed to go. Re: Front license plate installation I bought a new bracket at the dealer once came with those same rivets, and IIRC there were instructions on installing the rivets, and it did NOT require a pop-riveter.
